Program Overview

Our program consists of 8,000 On the Job Training (OJT) hours and 576 Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI) or classroom hours. This takes approximately 4-5 years to complete. Our classroom instruction takes place one night per week for 4 hours from September to June.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicant must meet the following requirements to qualify for an interview for Apprenticeship

a. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
b. Obtain an official copy of High School Transcripts or High School Equivalency with official test result
c. Be physically fit to perform the duties of the trade
d. Obtain minimum passing scores

e. Hold a current and valid state issued driver’s license and dependable means of transportation to and from job sites in the geographical area covered by our apprenticeship standards.
f. Be able to write and speak the English language


Other Requirements

Applicants selected for hire will be required to submit to the following as conditions of employment:

a. Complete and pass a background check & urinalysis test at no cost to the applicant
b. Submit proof of residency within 50 miles of downtown Spokane, within 60 days of selection.
